I was driving to pick up Stella from the comic book store.
I can see that it is getting darker earlier.
The lights downtown looked nice though.
Our city put these up a couple of years ago.
They are strung across seven or eight blocks of East and West Main Street.

I found this guy at the Fairview Heights Saver’s thrift shop.
I could not pass him by.
What thanks do I get for rescuing him?
He attacks my lighthouse sand sculpture.
The Sodor Bay boat is going to ram him.

We did some back-to-school shopping at Target.
The kids were not too happy about it.
And to be honest, I am so done with back-to-school shopping myself.
I’ve done it for far too long – and still have several years to go.
This CD on the rose bush took my mind off of it for a little bit though.
