2011 09 25 _MG_4665w
George Costanza (after having to buy a book that he took into a bookstore bathroom): “They made me buy it.. A hundred bucks this thing cost me. (Gesturing to the book) How dare they?! I got news for you, if it wasn't for the toilet, there would be no books.”

Seinfeld, “The Bookstore.” Written by: Spike Feresten, Darin Henry, and Mark Jaffe. April 9, 1998

TIME:  10:10 PM
PLACE:  Bathroom
SUBJECT:  Books

StellaDella walked past me earlier this evening with a armload of books.

“Is it ok if I take these upstairs Mom?”
“Sure, just put them away when you are finished.”
”OK, I really, really need them right now.”

This is where she “needed” them.

Peppermint Bark (350/365)

Cosmo Kramer: Who's gonna turn down a Junior Mint? It's chocolate, it's peppermint, it's delicious.

"The Junior Mint." Seinfeld. Perf. Michael Richards. 17 Mar. 1993. Television.

TIME:  3:55 PM
PLACE:  Kitchen
SUBJECT:  Three Layer Peppermint Bark

The kids had an “icy road” day off school today, so I made them work.  We made this peppermint bark as well as a toffee pretzel bark and packaged them in mason jars to give as gifts to their teachers.  The above peppermint bark is. To. Die. For.  Seriously.  White chocolate, crushed starlight mints, bittersweet chocolate, heavy whipping cream and peppermint extract combine together to make the most heavenly flavor experience. *swoon*  I had to make a second batch, so we would have some for our own ~ it won’t last long though.

Twisted (364/365)

George Costanza: What was wrong with that? I had a different interpretation! Do you
know anything about this pretzel guy?! Maybe he's been in the bar a really long
time and he's really depressed because he has no job and no woman and he's
parking cars for a living! (out the window to honking cars) Alright! Alright!
Shut up! Shut up! I hear you! I'm coming down! These pretzels are making me
thirsty!

“The Alternate Side.” Seinfeld. (Season 3). Perf. Jason Alexander. Castle Rock Entertainment, West-Shapiro. 1991.

TIME:  9:17 PM
PLACE:  The living room
SUBJECT:  Balloon sculpture

StellaDella has been playing with a balloon twisting book and activity set.  The set has balloons, a hand pump and an instruction book to make many different balloon animals and objects.  For the last couple of days, she has been blowing up and twisting balloons.  Her specialty?  Balloon pretzels – hold the salt please.
