According to the 1925 City Directory, this building (1522 West Main St.) housed a bakery owned by a Louis C Seifferth.
Back in the early 1970’s, a bakery still operated there.
(although I do not remember the name)
I remember going inside with my mom while she bought pizza crusts.

Stage Beer was made in our town until August 1988 when the brewery was closed.
As you travel north on 17th Street, you can still see the Stag emblem on the side of one of the metal buildings.
