I acquired this painting last year from our local thrift shop.

I was debating whether or not to purchase it – it was a bit higher than my price point.  Then I decided, “Screw it, I’ll regret it if I don’t buy it.”

Turns out, all framed pictures were 1/2 price that day – it only cost me $13.50

Sweet.

A Big Sunday.

Drove down to the Rural King.

They had spring chicks in the store.

I did not buy any – sadly, my town does not allow residents to keep chickens.

And I think Mulder would eat them.

This beauty is now 14 – fourteen!!!!

After a day of hosting a Dungeons and Dragons session at our house, she chose to eat cuisine she has never tried before, Indian food,

She ate Paneer Pakora as an appetizers (deep fried cheese dipped in garbanzo bean batter) and Prawns Masala (prawns in tomato sauce) with basmati rice and nan (leavened bread).

She loved it – afterwards we went to Barnes and Noble to browse a bit.

Now that MonkeyBoy is out of Basic Training and at Advanced Individual Training, I can send more “fun” things to him, rather than be restricted to shampoo, soap, etc..

So, for Valentine’s Day he’s getting some of his favorite cookies, protien bars and goldfish crackers (individual servings, as in accordance with guidelines)

I packed it all in a box I had on hand -

I hope he doesn't get too much flack for it.
