DramaQueen's Girl Scout Troop took a field trip to Springfield, Illinois today for Girl Scout Day at the Illinois State Capital. I think the troop's highlight of the trip was a stop at the Cozy Dog Drive In restaurant for some of their famous corn dogs. She wanted to take a picture of that, but her batteries had died in her camera...poor thing. So to answer your question, yes, DQ took this picture and yes, this is yet another guest photographer post. I know, I know, I've done this two days in a row. What can I say, I'm a slacker!

Lucy - Our previous state of Illinois governor, Rod Blagojevich was recently impeached and removed from office due to gross misconduct. I used this quote from the televison show, "The Simpsons", as the Mayor Quimby character is quite corrupt. In addition, the show takes place in the fictional town of Springfield. Springfield also happens to be the capital city of the state of Illinois. I find the parallels amusing. ;)
Michelle - It is pretty neat. I wish I would have been able to go with her. I just couldn't this time.
