DramaQueen has been complaining of a sore throat the past couple of days, in fact, she said that it has been hurting for the past 3 weeks!  I gave her some acetaminophen for the pain and it worked for a couple of hours but that was it.  She did not have a fever, but did have a runny nose and a slight cough.  So I called the pediatrician this morning and late this afternoon, we took off to the the doctor’s office.  It turns out she has a bad sinus infection and since it’s been hanging around for over 10 days, she won the prize and received a prescription for some antibiotics.  Hopefully she will start feeling better shortly.  Summer illnesses are the worst.
