PLACE: Alley
SUBJECT: Rabbit
Stella, Claudia and I were on our way home from seeing “The Incredibles 2” when I had to stop in the alley because this rabbit was in the way.
He just sat there. Didn’t even move when I honked the horn.
From this angle, it looks like he’s smoking that leaf on the ground.
Must have mellowed him out.
“We all live in a house on fire, no fire department to call; no way out, just the upstairs window to look out of while the fire burns the house down with us trapped, locked in it.”

SUBJECT: House on fire
It wasn’t the best day at work.
Things just weren’t going the way they should.
On the way home, I passed this house fire.
I realized my day could have been a lot worse.
Gloria Stivic: Robin's burning incense. I think it smells nice.
Archie Bunker: It smells like a house of Ill Refute.

SUBECT: Incense
I decided to make the house smell nice with some Ramakrishnananda Hand Rolled Incense in the “Hari” Amber & Sandalwood scent. It’s giving HH flashbacks to the Seventies.
“It is the love of country that has lighted and that keeps glowing the holy fire of patriotism.”

SUBJECT: Smoke bomb
This is the extent of our fireworks this year…DramaQueen went to a friend’s get together on Saturday and brought home a bag of smoke bombs. She set them all off after supper.
Worriers spend a lot of time shoveling smoke.

SUBJECT: Steam pipe
Yesterday, MonkeyBoy’s football team ended up winning their game by forfeit as the opposing team did not show up to play. So, MB’s team decided to scrimmage against each other. HandsomeHusband said that he had never seen them hit their opponents as hard as they hit each other during that scrimmage. MB tackled a teammate and hurt his upper left arm. He couldn’t raise it past his shoulder and had some pain. So this morning, I called the pediatrician and made the trek to her office. A visit to the radiologist and two x-rays later, we got good news - there were no breaks or fractures! He will just be sore for awhile and it should resolve itself with no further issues.
This steam pipe is visible from the parking garage that is attached to the hospital and the doctor’s offices. After I took this, we went to Costco for a cheap lunch (you can’t beat $1.50 for a jumbo hot dog and a soda!) and the purchasing of pancake mix, a gallon of syrup, trash bags, almonds for my father, and winter coats for the rugrats. Such excitement.
