My favorite thing about fall is the color change in all the leaves. This year it seems like it took a little bit longer for the trees to to ditch their summer green outfits to bright fall colors.
And, because it’s my blog and my rules, I am posting a 2nd picture that I took on Sunday of some other fall foliage.

I do miss "traditional" fall colors. We have color here in the fall, but it's because flowering plants start blooming. Everything is backward here ...
I never thought about that, but I guess it gets a tad cooler in the fall and winter months there - probably much more tolerable for the flowering plants than the blazing summer heat.
