SUBJECT: Squirrel
*~*~*
My sister-in-law gave me the corn from her decorative corn stalks for the squirrels.
They found it right away and made a gigantic mess on my porch.

I came home from work to this.
I guess Mulder didn’t like the way his pillow was treating him today.
I’m grateful it wasn’t filled with feathers.

SUBJECT: Trash
It’s the 1st weekend of October and that means the annual Chili Cook-Off is happening downtown in our fair city.
I didn’t go last night, the kids did. They said it was packed – or as my husband likes so say “It was all ass-holes and elbows out there”
Tonight, the aforementioned husband and I ventured out.
It wasn’t too bad this evening, though there were several booths that had sold out.
Still, there was plenty of chili to be had.
Beer too.
And it was a nice crisp evening.

SUBJECT: Horn and silly string remnants
There was a lot of silly string and party popper streamers in my house as well. *shakes head* After the boys left for home about 12:45am (all the girls spent the night) I told DQ that I wanted it all cleaned up by the time I woke up in the morning. Besides the giggling, occasional screeching, heavy footsteps and other loud noises, I did hear the vacuum going around 4am. I give her a lot of credit – it was clean when I got up this morning.
The porch and sidewalk outside?
That’s a different story.
