A Nose For Talent (113/365)

2011 04 23 IMG_1188w
“It takes little talent to see what lies under one's nose, a good deal to know in what direction to point that organ.”

W. H. Auden (English born American Poet, Dramatist and Editor who achieved early fame in the 1930s as a hero of the left during the Great Depression. 1907-1973)

TIME:  6:26 PM
PLACE:  The brother’s kitchen
SUBJECT:  StellaDella and Shayne

We had a one-day-early Easter dinner with the family this afternoon at my brother’s.  After we ate, my niece, Brandi and DramaQueen hid eggs outside for the younger cousins to hunt.  The kids found all of them just as some rain storms came into the area again.  They came inside and played several games of Uno, while Aunt J. French braided The Shayne’s and SD’s hair.  Then, the two girls demonstrated what natural ability and talent they had by balancing spoons on their noses. ~*~*~ Oh, and do you see that third eye Miss Shayne has on her forehead?  That’s from her brother accidently hitting her with a golf club last week Sunday.  It won her a trip to the ER and some surgical glue.
