“I could just remember how my father used to say that the reason for living was to get ready to stay dead a long time.”
― William Faulkner, As I Lay Dying
TIME:  2:56 PM
PLACE: Backyard
SUBJECT:  Dying honeybee
It reached a high of 58 degrees today.
The bees were out in force.
This little gal was laying on the fence post.
She wasn’t moving much.
I did see her antennae twitch a few times.
Soon it stopped.
