Boxcars from the Car (009/365)

TIME: 4:31 pm
PLACE: North 17th Street
SUBJECT: Boxcars

*~*~*

Another grey dreary day.  It made the overtime I had to put in a bit more palatable.

I did quit about 2:30 and left to get my haircut.  While driving home, I realized I had no photo for today.  When I slowed down to cross the train tracks, I quickly took this picture.

Not a great photo, but a photo taken today nevertheless.

Railroad Tracks (234/365)

2011 08 22 IMG_0556w
Two drunks were walking upgrade between the railroad tracks. One of them said, "This is is longest stairway I have ever been on." To this, the other replied, "It's not the stairs that bother me, it's the low banister."

I decided to walk from our house to my son’s Boy Scout parent meeting this evening.  I need the exercise.  As I crossed the tracks, I realized that I had never taken a photo of train tracks in the past 963 days of this project.  So, I stopped and quickly took care of that deficiency.
