“When all the world is young, lad,
And all the trees are green;
And every goose a swan, lad,
And every lass a queen;”

Forty-three. I am forty-three years old today. When my mother was 43, I was graduating from high school. When her mother was 43, she was pregnant with my mother. How’s that for perspective?
Anyway, I had a relaxed day. I renewed my driver’s license (how exciting!), had lunch with Handsome Husband and with HH’s encouragement, bought myself a new camera – A Canon EOS Rebel XS with a 75-300mm lens. Spiffy, huh? This photo is the 28th one I took with my new camera and lens. I hope I can justify my purchase with better photos. Good gravy, why oh why can’t I just enjoy my new toy and not put so much pressure on myself to perform? Because I’m whacko that’s why.
