HandsomeHusband took the training wheels off SD’s bicycle about 2 weeks ago.  She was able to ride almost immediately, although she was a little shaky and needed help with the initial take-off.  Tonight she was doing it all by herself.  Back and forth, back and forth, up and down the sidewalk she rode.  She wanted to ride in the street, but HH and I vetoed that idea.  She began to whine about that but when given the choice of riding on the sidewalk without whining or whining and putting the bike away, she chose the sidewalk and no whining.  Smart girl.
