"Phyllis Stephens: Do you know how to make Pineapple Upside Down Cake?
Samantha Stephens: No, I don't.
Phyllis Stephens: Then there are his hives.
Samantha Stephens: I don't know how to make them either.
Phyllis Stephens: No, no, dear. That's an allergy."

SUBJECT: Ingredients for Pineapple Upside Down cake
This is how I am spending my evening. Making six, 9-inch Pineapple Upside Down Cakes for the dessert stand at tomorrow's Cub Scout BBQ. This is the big fundraiser for the Scout year. We sell BBQ ribs, pork steaks, rib tips and chicken. Desserts are baked by parents and donated for sale. Two years ago, I made about ten single layer cakes, with two of them being pineapple upside cakes. They were sold before I was able to place them on the table. Last year, I made eight of them. They were all the first to go again. This year, we have a whole lot more people donating cakes and pies, so I'm just making six of them this time.
It's only supposed to get up to 47 degrees tomorrow and they have been talking about snow. Sigh. It's going to be cold selling that BBQ outside under the pavilion.
