“Quick as a humming bird is my love, Dipping into the hearts of flowers-- She darts so eagerly, swiftly, sweetly Dipping into the flowers of my heart.“
James Oppenheim (1882-1932), American poet, novelist, and editor. A lay analyst and early follower of C. G. Jung
TIME: 6:53 (yesterday)
PLACE: My brother’s backyard
SUBJECT: Hummingbird
This is another photo I took yesterday at my brother’s house. I really wanted to capture the hummer in flight, but was just not able to do so. On the bright side, she did stay still on the feeder long enough for me to snap a half-way decent photo with my telephoto lens – I’m happy with that.
