SUBJECT: 40th B-Day Party Necklace
My brother-in-law turned 40 on Monday and my sister gave him a surprise birthday party tonight. My contribution was these party favor necklaces, modeled here by HandsomeHusband. My sister and I scanned two youthful photos of Dave and used Photoshop to place the text onto the picture. We took the files to Kinko's where they filled an 8 1/2 x 11 inch sheet of paper with each photo-12 to a sheet. They also printed and laminated them for us. Yesterday, I cut the pictures apart and wired them onto black and silver Mardi Gras throw beads. All of the partygoers wore them in support of Dave's journey into his 40's. Happy Birthday Dave!

That's a fun party favor necklace!
Happy Birthday, Dave!!!
What a clever idea! You are very creative. Hope it was a truly happy day for Dave!
Christina - Everyone seem to enjoy them, even the birthday boy!
Dot O - I will admit to "borrowing" this idea from my cousin's 50th bday party on January 30th.
My husband will be 50 this July. I don't think he'd go for this, but it is a cute idea!
ETW - Even if you used a "naked baby butt" picture? THAT would be adorable!
What a cute idea. Sounds like you all had fun!
Mari - Even though I could only consume the meatless appetizers (fried cheese ravioli, crab rangoon, fried pickles and veggies) and not eat any hotwings, it was a good time!
Very creative!
I love this, what a great idea!! :) Perhaps I will "borrow" it from you in future....
Ev - Thank you!
Oz Girl - Go right on ahead...they are easy to make and everyone gets a kick out of them.
