My SD turned 8 years-old today. Due to scheduling conflicts, the family party with Grandpa and the Aunts, Uncles and cousins won’t be until the 19th. But we couldn’t let the day pass without making it special for the birthday girl. We let her choose where she wanted to go tonight for supper and she chose the Bar & Grill/Game room/Laser tag center. I liked her choice ‘cause HH and I could have a soothing adult beverage while SD and MonkeyBoy spent quarters playing games. (DramaQueen was too busy texting) After we ate, SD and MB played a game of laser tag. Then, SD, DQ and I went to Barnes and Noble for about an hour, with a stop to get ice cream on the way home.
