"But now in September the garden has cooled, and with it my possessiveness. The sun warms my back instead of beating on my head ... The harvest has dwindled, and I have grown apart from the intense midsummer relationship that brought it on."
Robert Finch (American-born Canadian poet, 1900-1995)

I was off work today and ran errands in the morning. I had the worst headache – it was working to be a migraine. I ended up taking some migraine medication and laying down from noon until about 2:30. I felt so much better afterwards.
Time again this month for my tree picture. The leaves are just beginning to change – I wonder if they will all still be on the tree at the end of October?
