“Let architects sing of aesthetics that bring Rich clients in hordes to their knees; Just give me a home, in a great circle dome Where stresses and strains are at ease.”
Richard Buckminster Fuller (US engineer and architect, 1895-1983)

SUBJECT: Structure made of rolled newspapers
At StellaDella’s Daisy meeting tonight, we rolled newspapers and taped them into triangles to create a slightly wonky-geodesic-type dome. I don’t know what the girls enjoyed more, building the dome or trying to stick as many pieces of tape as they could to the adult leaders.

Looks like a fun activity - and a good way to learn!
never thought they are made with newspapers
Mari - The Cub Scouts were having a meeting and building a structure as well - so the competitivness was coming out.
bentonflocke - That is so they are recyclable!
