Christmas waves a magic wand over this world, and behold, everything is softer and more beautiful.

SUBJECT: Christmas tree lights
Well, I actually DID start decorating for Christmas today. I was able to get the tree set up at least. Only the lights are on it for now though. Ornaments will have to wait until tomorrow. I have an artificial tree and I put the lights on “old school” – wrapping them from trunk to the tip of each individual branch. Yes, it is a pain in the rear, but I like a lot of lights on my tree. I could purchase a pre-lit tree but they just don’t have enough lights on them for me. Plus I can’t see shelling out money for a new tree when the one I have is still in excellent shape. I’m cheap frugal that way.
Do you like this shot? I used the “fireworks” setting on my camera and moved it in a circular motion while pressing the shutter to take this photo.

I love this shot! I was wondering how you did it.
I have a pre-lit tree but still end up wrapping lights like you do. It's a pain but it looks so pretty!
This is way cool!
