This morning, I went out to maintain the pool and found a large bumblebee floating in the water.  I fished him out with the skimmer and he slowly started to move around on the mesh.  He crawled to the side of the paddle and hung over the edge.  Poor thing was totally waterlogged.  I took him over to the sandbox and placed him on the cover.  He moved around a little bit and spread out his legs and wings to dry.  Apparently he made it, bee-cause (Ha!) when I checked on him about 2 hours later he was gone.
