Busy, busy day. Up early to travel 33 miles to MB’s football game which had a 9:00am start time. They won, which made the trip worth it. Back home to get MB and HH packed up for a Cub Scout campout at the Washington County Conservation area just south of Nashville, IL. After they left, the girls and I went out for a little retail therapy. Old Navy, Borders, a quick tour of the mall, then dinner at Fazolis. It was raining when we left the restaurant and when we looked up, we saw a rainbow. Since we were close by the park, I drove there to get a photo without those pesky electrical wires in the background. For a few minutes, we could make out a faint second rainbow that appeared above this one. It didn’t photograph well…bummer. Afterwards, we continued on to Target for essentials – kitty litter, dishwasher detergent, some socks, pj’s and t-shirts for SD, and various other sundry items. An exciting Saturday, don’t you think?
