SUBJECT: Table & Chairs
*~*~*
We had sun and warmer weather today!
Even though it is warmer, outdoor dining would still be a bit brisk and not really a good option.
Luckily, the state is in Phase 4 and we can dine indoors again.

TIME: 11:24 AM
PLACE: In the car
SUBJECT: Oreo and Mulder
Took these pups to the vet this morning for a nail trim.
They weren’t too happy while there, but they cheered up and enjoyed the ride on the way home.

SUBJECT: Sky & power lines
We received a pretty hard down pour just now.
It’s still light out and the sky looks pretty cool.
TIME: 8:01 AM
PLACE: Driveway
SUBJECT: Snow on car roof
We received a light dusting of snow very early this morning.
I know it was early in the morning because when I was up at 3am to let the dogs out I saw it on the ground. It wasn’t there when I went to bed earlier.
It’s still very cold.
TIME: 8:25 PM
PLACE: Chesterfield, MO
SUBJECT: Birds on wires
The girls and I went to the Premium Outlet mall in West County to look for some outfits for Claudia’s senior pictures.
On the way out of the parking lot, we could see thousands of birds sitting atop the electrical wires.
I bet all the bird poop was in a row on the ground too.

TIME: 6:08 PM
PLACE: Bella Milano, Edwardsville, IL
SUBJECT: Table
HH and I went out to eat – no kids.
The place where we originally wanted to go (Gulf Shores Restaurant & Grill) had an hour wait.
We were impatient and hungry.
So we went for Italian instead.
TIME: 6:48 AM
PLACE: Basement
SUBJECT: Dryer
See what happens when a permanent marker makes its way through the washer and then the dryer with its cap off? You don’t want to see the clothes that were in the load with the damned thing. Here’s praying that the Magic Eraser lives up to its name….
“I invented the cordless extension cord.”

TIME: 11:54

SUBJECT: Cell phone charger cord
We go through more cell phone chargers than Carter has pills (I’ll just let you Google that expression if you’ve never heard it before). I had to buy DQ yet another one this evening.

SUBJECT: Container of Oreo cookies
These cookies were purchased at 7:11pm from Target. This is what is left after being at our house for 2 hours and 46 minutes. Moral of the story? If you want an Oreo at our house, you need to be quick.

TIME: 7:49 PM
PLACE: Shopping center parking lot
SUBJECT: MonkeyBoy
It was MB”s turn to go back-to-school clothes shopping tonight. It is such a different shopping experience with my boy than when I go with DramaQueen. He picked out this t-shirt at Kohl’s and insisted on wearing it right away.
“He's out of his depth on a wet pavement.”
Sir Terence David John "Terry" Pratchett (British, Comic fantasy Novelist, b1948)
TIME: 11:30 AM
PLACE: Parking lot
SUBJECT: Parking lot wet pavement
Look at that - we had rain this morning! Unfortunately, after DQ and I walked back out of the mall at 2:30pm after doing some back-to-school shopping, it was all dry. It didn’t even look as if it had rained at all.
Red and black bug on yellow

I should have used my tripod.

TIME: 7:29 PM
PLACE: Front yard
SUBJECT: Milkweed bug
A quick post this evening – I liked the contrast of the red and black milkweed bug on the yellow flower.
