“I never saw an ugly thing in my life: for let the form of an object be what it may - light, shade, and perspective will always make it beautiful.”
John Constable (English Romantic painter, he is known principally for his landscape paintings of Dedham Vale, 1776-1837)
TIME: 6:15 PM
PLACE: Foundation on the west side of the house
SUBJECT: SEDUM spectabile blossoms
DramaQueen and StellaDella both had a doctor appointment today. Our state requires children entering kindergarten and 6th grade to have a physical examination and up-to-date immunizations. DQ needed two shots and SD needed five(!) – I didn’t realize how behind we were in SD’s immunization schedule. Bad mom! DQ looked away and didn’t even realize when the needle went in. As for SD, she kept her eye on each shot as the nurse gave them to her and didn’t flinch or cry once. That’s my girl!
These Sedum plants are located at the foundation on the west side of our house. They were there when we purchased our home and thrive in that spot. This is a side view of the flower cluster. Click here for a view of the entire plant.

Those darn immunizations!! Our Grandson Peyton goes in for his physical and shots next week. He starts kindergarten the last Thursday of this month!!
What a beautiful shot! We have sedums too, but not that color.
What a gorgeous shot you got here... I love this shot better than the photo of the whole plant. :)
