SUBJECT: Patio lights
HandsomeHusband and I were invited to a surprise 50th birthday party. This celebrant had owned the bar where HH and I met 20 years ago. It was like a “Cheers” bar, where everybody knew our names. Sadly, the bar is no longer around. We had to play tag team with the kids as we didn’t have a sitter. I took the kids to a birthday party for my good friend Denise’s children. HH arrived there about 8pm and I left to attend the other party. Going to this party was like a reunion. It was really nice seeing the group again…it reminded me of all the good times we had at the tavern, especially the beginning my relationship with HH. I ended up talking and reminiscing with the barflies until closing at 2am.
