March Tree (085/365)

2010 03 26 IMG_5339w
“It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold:  when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade.”

Charles Dickens (English novelist, generally considered the greatest of the Victorian era, 1812-1870)

TIME:  4:04 PM
PLACE:  Front yard
SUBJECT:  Red Sunset Maple tree

Barely, just barely, changes are beginning to show on the tree this month.  I can see the red buds emerging from the branches.  Another cloudless, blue sky for my picture.  The temperatures seem more like winter than springtime.  This Charles Dickens quote seems to hit the nail right on the head today.

It's beginning to look like spring. I like your project of a photo a month of this tree. :)

The angle of this shot is so cool. It makes the tree almost look other worldly. I love it!
