We had a gorgeous warm spring day…it got up to a balmy 74 degrees, then the wind kicked in and the temperature dropped. It is only supposed to get up to 43 degrees tomorrow. Mother Nature is such a tease.

This is a blue pottery piece I have on my front porch. The setting sun shining through the Capital Pear tree’s branches made some lovely shadows on it as it sat on my barn-wood hutch. The top photo is the original and the bottom photo is the same picture, but just flipped horizontally in Photoshop. I think the bottom picture looks much lighter in color than the original top photo. It’s amazing how a such a simple thing as flipping can make photo have such a different look to it.
